Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
I am excited to share with you the following gifted updates:
Gifted Schoology Group: I have created my own Schoology group (not course) for all five of my schools and our gifted students. Majority if not all of our gifted students and families may already know this. My middle school gifted students and I have been using our Schoology pages all year. Schoology is very new to our elementary gifted students and the enrichment folder is new to all of my gifted students. Here are some details pertaining to Schoology, enrichment folders, and more.
- Gifted Schoology Group & Enrichment Folder: Please locate the correct school below and be sure that your child knows how to access the group and the enrichment folder located in OUR Gifted Schoology Group (not in their teacher’s Schoology group):

“Group” NOT “Courses”: At the top of the Schoology page, you will see “Courses,” “Groups” and “Resources.” Be sure to click on “Group” in order to find our Schoology page. I recently learned that it does not automatically show up in Schoology for your child. Please help your child locate our Schoology group so he/she can begin this journey.
My hope is to connect with all of our gifted students through our Schoology page. I have had the pleasure to interact with many students already through Schoology. As we begin our new learning journey together, I want to offer support and additional guidance. I know this will be different, but it will provide us with new learning opportunities. I am sure they will gain something positive from this experience. I will post a variety of challenges and information that will be fun and helpful. Students have already started sharing ideas, adding pictures and even videos! Please use the enrichment folder at your convenience. I want to provide your child with a variety of challenges and learning experiences.
- Enrichment Folder found in our Schoology Group: Under the “resources” tab,” it will take them to a folder titled, “Enrichment with Mrs. Seaman.” There are internet resources, virtual field trips, videos, logic puzzles downloads, scavenger hunts, multiple intelligence quiz, analogies, creative problem solving, and more! I will continue to post new activities every week!
- Contact: My goal is to continue to connect with students and you. I also have a Google Voice number so you can call or text during my home office hours at (904) 567-6172. Additionally, I will be available every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8PM. As your child’s gifted itinerant/resource teacher I am here for additional help and provision of resources. You can contact me for anything that you may need at [email protected]
Thank you,
Brandie Seaman, M.Ed.
