Swim Week! Unfortunately, swim was canceled today due to inclement weather. 🙁 We were bummed!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful gifts this week! I am incredibly grateful. I genuinely ENJOY coming to school each day to teach and learn along with your children. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.
Please make sure your child is present Monday and Tuesday next week. On Monday we will have a shortened “boot camp” in which students will rotate between 3rd grade classes to review POWER STANDARDS covered on the Math F.A.S.T test. Tuesday morning students will take their final F.A.S.T test. Please make sure they:
- Get a good night sleep the night before
- Eat a quality breakfast
- Arrive to school on time and do not check out early (roughly 8:30-10:30)
- Have a positive morning – encourage them to do their best, double-check answers, and use their scrap paper to show their work!
Monday, May 20th: MEMORY DAY! Signing yearbooks, creating favorite memories, writing letters of advice for incoming 3rd graders
Tuesday, May 21st: Bring a towel and book to read in the WOODS!
Wednesday, May 22nd: Class Party! A sign-up genius has been sent out. Please send in $5 to help purchase Chick-fil-A nuggets. Thank you so much for your support and contributions!
Thursday, May 23rd: GAME DAY – bring a game from home! No electronics. MEGA PARTY! Don’t forget socks.
Friday, May 24th: MOVIE day (early release at 1:50)
Our class novel is “James and the Giant Peach” by Roald Dahl. Let me know if you would like an alternate assignment for your child!
