Congratulations to Loyal, Beau, Milena, Ellis, and Dylan for making it into the MILLION Word Club this year! Ellis even made it to the 2 (almost 3!) Million Word Club! Way to go, readers!
Thursday, May 2nd students will take their 3rd and final F.A.S.T ELA test. Your children are prepared academically. Here are a few tips of what your can do at home to ensure their success:
- Arrive to school ON TIME. Testing begins promptly at 8:30. Students who arrive late will not be permitted into testing rooms and will need to retest at another time.
- Do not make any early morning appointments for your child on this day – please do not check them out once testing has begun (roughly 8:30-10:30)!
- Go to bed early the night before
- Eat a hearty breakfast
- Have a positive morning – they got this! Encourage them to take their time and do their best!
Our class novel is “James and the Giant Peach” by Roald Dahl. Let me know if you would like an alternate assignment for your child!
