(1) 1.5″ 3 ring binder: We are going to keep our materials organized in a 3 ring binder this year. Given my very limited shelf space (and the fact that I have over 200 students) the binder should be NO LARGER than 2″. My intention is to keep these notebooks in class. It is rare that I will assign homework and even more rare if that homework would need to come home with them. There is no color preference or requirement. Click here to see example
(1) package of 8-count divider tabs: we will be using these to organize our class binder by unit. Click here to see example
(1) Headphones or earbuds: storage is a problem in class, so smaller over-the-ear headphones or earbuds are best. Airpods are NOT ALLOWED in the building and the will not connect to our desktop computers. The connection to the computer can not be “Apple-style” with the flat connector, it has to be the round (“old fashioned”) type. I keep a few extras in the class, but each student should have a pair of their own. If a student wishes to keep a pair in the classroom, they should label them with their first and last name and place them in a ziploc bag (also labeled) and I will store them in a bin designated for each class period.
(1) Pencil pouch: (Optional) one that has holes to store in a 3-ring binder is preferable. We will be using this to store earbuds. This will not work for over-the-ear headphones – see above for storage suggestion. Click here to see example
