ELA:\u00a0 Students read and discussed Molly’s Piligrim by Barbara Cohen.\u00a0 This book included some excellent social\/emotional topics that brought up relevant conversations about empathy.\u00a0 We are looking forward to watching the movie next week and doing a book vs. movie comparison.\u00a0 We also continued our focus on pronouns, spelling patterns, and how finding syllables in words help us with unknown words pronunciation and spelling.\u00a0 Finally, we studied Authors Purpose (Think P.I.E<\/strong>…. P<\/strong>ersude, I<\/strong>nform, E<\/strong>ntertain).<\/p>\n
