Students worked hard this week on their animal research project!  They picked an animal of their choice, researched on Pebble Go, wrote a rough and final draft, and then presented their research to the class via Adobe!  Be sure to check out their work on Clever!  I was so impressed with what they accomplished in 4 school days.  Way to go!

The tale of David and the Bubble Gum – Decorglee.com

Celebrating the power of these two words: Thank you - The San Diego Union-Tribune

Thank you for coming to Open House despite the MONSOON outside!  I loved listening to your children proudly give a tour of their classroom.  It put a huge smile on my face!

Help Needed Stock Photo - Download Image Now - Assistance, Help - Single Word, Sign

A sign up sheet was put out during Open House to volunteer at our Fall Festival booth.  I think several people missed it in the chaos of the evening.  We have a few spots still available.  Please contact me or our room parent Tiffany Hogan if you are available to serve snow cones for a 30 minute time block.  Grandparents and responsible teens needing volunteer hours are welcome to help as well.  We need someone from:

6:00-6:30

6:30-7:00

7:00-7:30

7:30-8:00

Congratulations to Ellis and Stella for winning our bubble gum estimation jar!  The total count was 152 and they BOTH guessed 150.  Stella and Ellis split the gum evenly (which made for a great division problem example!) and even shared a piece with every student in the class.  Way to go!
