We focused on goals and intentions this week for the 2nd half of 3rd grade. Ask your child what they plan to work on!
We read “Be a Perfect Person in just three days” by Stephen Manes this week as our class novel to tie into our goals for the new year. We completed some of the tasks the main character did – such as wear a broccoli necklace for 24 hours straight! Ha! Ask your child what the moral of this book was!
New A.R. goals have been set for the 3rd quarter. Encourage your child to read 30 minutes (minimum) daily.
Please make sure you are reviewing multiplication facts at home. As we introduce division, students who have a strong grasp on their multiplication facts have a much easier time making connections with division.
Fun times at the SHINE party this afternoon!
