Woo Hoo! We have several MORE students moving towards trying &#8220;out&#8221; classes, for Q2, based on positive data! Congratulations to our students. Currently we have 4 students who have transitions back to general ed. full time and 5 additional students who have added additional general ed. classes to their schedule!&nbsp; Keep working hard- this is the goal of our program!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'andale mono', monospace\"><strong>Phone Policy: <\/strong>TO BE COLLECTED during breakfast \/TURNED OFF AND IN LOCKER\/Backpack for the remainder of the day.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'andale mono', monospace\">**If you don&#8217;t have a lock or backpack, turn it in! The goal of the Bridge Program at GRMS is to gradually reintegrate students into the general education setting with minimal support.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"font-family: terminal, monaco, monospace;color: #333399\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;color: #008080\">Our social perspectives focus this week will be CHOICES! How to make good ones, especially when emotions are big and communicating with kindness is difficult. We will work on identifying strategies on how to manage these emptions, to communicate effectively to ensure good choices are made.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n<h6>&nbsp;<\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'andale mono', monospace;font-size: 14pt;color: #333399\"><u>Station Rotations<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: terminal, monaco, monospace\">In Learning Strategies, we have implemented Station Rotations, which the students really seem to enjoy. This small group setting allows students to work with peers and adults to ensure they are getting the support they need. Students rotate through an IR station, a Learning Strats Station, a Novel Study Station and for our Kinesthetic Learners, a Get Up and Move Station.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"block-v5hn20rmz\" class=\"b-c widget svelte-1b8zbxt\">\n<div class=\"relative block-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"relative block-box group svelte-1yxjc2k px-5\">\n<div class=\"relative w-full rounded block-content svelte-1yxjc2k\" data-block-type=\"text.title\" data-block-id=\"bv5hn20rmz\" data-block-toc=\"true\" data-toc-text=\"Week 1\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Students have been working hard to earn their behavior bucks! We have implemented class DOJO to help students tract their progress. Each point in the DOJO = $10 &#8220;Behavior Bucks&#8221;. We are focusing on being seated, using kind words and not being loud! Being in seat AND on task! Many students also benefit from a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and counseling services.<\/p><p>The focus of our program is to teach students alternative behaviors to replace challenging ones, with data collected to monitor their progress. I am originally from Union, New Jersey, in 2004 my family and I moved to Saint Augustine and have considered it home ever since!\u00a0 \u00a0I hold a bachelor\u2019s degree in History from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Secondary Education from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.<\/p><p>This is my 28th year in education, with over 10 years
