Sasquatches are \u201ccryptids\u201d- these are creatures whose existence has been suggested, but not confirmed by scientists. Other cryptids would be the Loch Ness Monster (Aunt Nessie) and the Kraken (Uncle Kraken). Other names for sasquatches are "Yeti" from the Himalayas, "Big Foot" from North America, "Skunk Ape" from Florida, "Yowie" from Australia, and the "Mande Barung" from India. It is suspected that sasquatches are bipedal, meaning the walk on 2 feet like humans. They could possibly be from 6 to 15 feet tall and have footprints as big as 24 inches!
