Camp Hunt

This is an exciting opportunity for our 5th graders to camp out at our school from January 19th-20th. Games, a campfire program, and a lot of fun! Permission forms are due by Wednesday, December 20th.

Field Day

Field Day is March 23rd, 2018. We are currently looking for volunteers to run extremely fun and easy stations! Please  call, e-mail  or stop by the office if you can help us out. All volunteers must be approved, applications are in the front office!! Below is the schedule. Please come 30 minutes before the scheduled time. We will meet center field under the shade tent.

9:00-10:00: Kindergarten and 1st grade

10:30-11:30: 4th and 5th grade

12:10-1:10: 2nd and 3rd grade

Elementary Olympics/Character Cup

This years Character cup will take place in March at St. Augustine High School. 10 students (5 girls and 5 boys from 5th grade) will represent R. B. Hunt in a fun competition with other elementary schools in the district demonstrating outstanding athletics’ and Character counts!

Swim Lessons

All students in K-3 will have the opportunity to participate in a safe swim program including swim lessons by certified Y.M.C.A instructors during the school day in late April, early May.  If you would like your child to participate in this incredible opportunity, please sign and return the permission forms that will be sent home in April.  All information will be included in the parents letter.

Kindergarten           (Water Safety Program)

3rd Grade                (3 days swim instruction, one day water & boat safety)

1st Grade                (3 days swim instruction, one day water & boat safety)

2nd Grade              (3 days swim instruction, one day water & boat safety)

Swim groups will be divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each group will have their individual goals.
