M/J Comprehensive Science 2 is an integration of physical, earth and life sciences.  Our laboratory investigations will include the use of scientific inquiry, research, measurement, problem solving, laboratory apparatus, experimental procedures, and safety procedures that are designed to meet Florida’s state standards.  Project-based learning modules presented in the 7th Grade ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Essentials 2 course will reinforce major concepts.  Learning tasks will accommodate the needs of individual students.  Technology will be used to help all students master the content of each unit and for enrichment.  Advanced students will encounter greater complexity of material and are expected to apply skills and strategies with greater independence.  Advanced students will also complete an independent science project (details will be provided).
