Welcome to my classroom. This is my ninth year teaching at Creekside and I couldn’t be happier. Who wouldn’t be? I’m surrounded daily by amazing students, a fantastic faculty and ever-supportive parents.

We will be covering a lot of material this year. Although history has a bunch of memorization, try not to think about it in that way. Understanding the concept is the most important thing. History is a story of the past, so when you read pretend it’s a story instead of a bunch of dates, names and facts. Furthermore, learning about history is really about understanding the significance of events to both the time period you are studying and the present day; when you read and take notes, always write the significance (studyhut.com).

In AP World History, we are covering the complete history of man from the Stone Age to the Internet Age. The AP students are exempt from the district quarter exams, but are required to take semester exams created by me. Ultimately, my job is to get my students as prepared as possible for the AP College Board exam on Thursday, May 11, 2016.

My AP U.S. History class starts a little later in time, obviously, but we’ll go more in-depth. However, like AP World, we will have to move at break-neck speed in order to cover all the content before the AP Exam on Friday, May 5, 2017.

Students can now book a meeting time with me for tutoring by selecting the “Book Now” button on this page. Times are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.

Please contact me by e-mail with any questions you may have. The best form of contact is always through e-mail.
