Holly Nover, MA, CCC/SLP
Holly is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). This is her 10th year as a SLP. Holly has worked with many different age groups having speech, language, communication, fluency, voice, hearing, and swallowing difficulties. She went to college in Orlando, FL at the University of Central Florida for both her Bachelor and Master degree’s in Communicative Disorders. Holly was elected to the American Speech and Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Special Interest Group 4 for Fluency and Fluency Disorders Coordinating Committee. She was also awarded Clinician of the Year 2010 by the Jacksonville Area Speech Pathology Association (JASPA). Holly is transferring over to VRA from Cunningham Creek Elementary.
As a person who stutters and having a young child that stutters as well, advocating for individuals with communication challenges and SLP’s are huge passions of hers. Holly was born and raised in St. Augustine, FL. She is a product of St. Johns County schools. Holly likes to read, travel, fish, spend time at the beach, watch baseball, organize, plan parties, spend time with friends and family, advocate for individuals who stutter, and volunteer her time to the National Stuttering Association. Holly especially enjoys spending time with her husband, Phil, their young sons, Colton and Beckett, and two Labrador Retrievers at their home in Northwest St. Johns County.
