Hello ELA Students!
You should officially be working in Module 2! In the coming weeks you will be planning, writing, and editing a compare and contrast essay (6th graders) or an informational essay (7th and 8th graders). You will also have the opportunity to participate in your Collaboration Assignment! During the Online Live Collaboration Lesson, you will learn skills to effectively peer edit, practice those skills on sample writing, and then edit another classmate’s work.
Throughout this module you will also receive links to short, mini lessons that will help you in the writing process.
Be sure to mark your calendars to attend ONE of the Online Live Collaboration Lessons via Mrs. Livingood’s Blackboard Classroom. Once you have chosen your selected date, be sure to sign-up here. Space in each lesson is limited, so be sure to sign-up early!
