Today the crew was challenged to design a bridge that would hold the most cubes. We talked about spiderwebs and what we could learn from them when bridge building. Groups had to agree on a plan, start building, test their bridge, then change their plan as needed to make their bridge stronger. It was AWESOME to watch them in action. It took them awhile, but their thinking paid off! All groups were able to design a bridge that held cubes using tape, cups, and yarn!
We made QUITE a mess, but it was so worth it!Groups got to share their final bridge and we counted to see how many cubes fit on each bridge! When we were done we wrote about what went well and what we learned!
