Thank you for your interest in Nease Chorus. It is a great honor and privilege to be your choral music teacher and fellow music maker at Nease. I am excited to get to know you!

As a student in the Nease Chorus, you will be singing and working with many people you already know and will have a wonderful opportunity to make friends with others unfamiliar to you. We will help you grow as a musician and singer. There will be great music, fun and entertaining music, concerts, trips, service activities, and traditions for you to enjoy. The most important thing to know is that Nease Chorus is like a home away from home for many students. You will find kids who are very similar and like-minded as you, but yet so very different, too! That is what choral music does for us – it brings us all together in ways that help us do things that we cannot do by ourselves.

All students are welcome to join the Neaes Chorus and I encourage you to jump right in! Be a leader; sing out; speak out; start finding out how to earn your Varsity Letter; volunteer; recruit your friends to be with you in chorus. There are always ways you can help. The more you serve, the more you grow!

You will have many questions and they may not always arise during class. My contact information is on this letter and I encourage you to use it.

Again, I am thrilled that you decided to be a part of this wonderful organization. From our current upperclassmen, to our newest freshmen, I am delighted that you have chosen to sing. I believe that it will turn out to be the best decision you could have made for your high school career.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Poe (email [email protected])
