- All important dates for the school year are already set* and located on the page called “2017-2018 Band Calendar”. Mark these dates on the family calendar and communicate any conflicts early.
- I use the information you provide in the Home Access Center (HAC) to communicate weekly. Please make sure this information is up to date.
- Every band student has to pay $100 of Band Fee to the band program. This covers music, maintenance of school owned instruments, music specific classroom supplies, guest clinicians, performance transportation, band shirts, etc. You can either pay this outright (checks made out to Murray Middle School Band Boosters) or students can fundraise this money during our fundraiser at the end of August.
*More Jazz Band performance dates will be scheduled throughout the school year.
All Band 2 and Band 3 Students need their instrument and a combination lock on Monday (8/14). There will be a supply check for the black binder, page protectors, and instrument specific supplies on Friday (8/18). This is the first grade (100 points) in the grade book.

After School Rehearsals
We will begin after school rehearsals for all Band 2 and Band 3 students Tuesday, September 12th. These rehearsals are weekly and will end at 3:30 pm. These rehearsals are critical to the success of the band this school year.
Summer Band was lots o’ fun this year! We joined forces with Pacetti Bay Middle School and Mr. Sellers and played a lot of fun music! This event will definitely happen again next year so be on the lookout for info in the future.
