Welcome to Ms. Baker’s Advanced International Certificate of Education Mathematics class ladies and gentlemen! As a former AICE graduate myself, I understand the rigorous course load that is dealt upon your shoulders, and I am beyond excited to help you learn and prepare for the upcoming AICE papers in May! With the ultimate goal in mind of every student to be confident in their own mathematics skills and pass both Paper 1 and Paper 2, we have to cover an extensive amount of material at a very fast pace, so please make sure you come see me before school, after school, or during lunch to get as much help as you need! At the beginning of the school year, you will receive a course calendar that explains the pacing guide we will follow for the year and the corresponding assignments for each day. Homework is not checked on a daily basis for credit, but you are responsible for having it completed as going over the assignment will be how we start class each day. Please make sure you do not lose the course calendar, and do not throw out any of your notes, homework assignments, reviews, or tests throughout the school year as they are essential tools we utilize during our end of the year reviews! Like always, please email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns!
