WELCOME  TO MR BAKER’S  SCIENCE CLASS. PLEASE CLICK ON THE E-MAIL ABOVE FOR A QUICK RESPONSE TO YOUR QUESTION

STUDENTS NEED TO COME PREPARED TO CLASS WITH A PENCIL, PENS (BLUE, BLACK, AND RED INK)  TEXTBOOKS AND INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOKS ARE NEEDED DAILY.

STUDENTS WILL BE WORKING IN SMALL GROUPS TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER. AS I MONITOR STUDENT PROGRESS MEMBERS OF THE GROUP WILL ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO COMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS AND NOT FALL BEHIND.  THE AGENDA WILL BE EXTENDED  TO INCLUDE ABOUT A MOUNTH OF CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS. IMPORTANT DATES FOR TESTS, QUIZZES, AND PROJECTS WILL BE INCLUDED.

The target understanding for students should be to transition to a more specific definition of forces and change of motion as well as energy transformation. That resulting net force changes motion. A change occurs in speed when calculating distance divided by time. Energy cannot be created or destroyed it changes from one form to another.
